2025 Arizona Trout Camp
Arizona Trout Camp is an annual, invitation-only, charity fishing event set against the breathtaking backdrop of Cyclone Lake on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation. Trout Camp benefits the fine folks at New Pathways for Youth (located in Phoenix, Arizona). New Pathways for Youth transforms the lives of youth by providing the support, stability, and skills they need to flourish in the community and in their families.
Cyclone Lake, Arizona
At 8,300 feet elevation, Cyclone Lake is located on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation near Pinetop, AZ. The lake is popular among anglers for its abundance of rainbow and brown trout, as well as Arizona’s state fish – the Apache trout – which is found only in the White Mountains. Cyclone Lake is closed to the general public but opens for private groups, organizations, and events, including Arizona Trout Camp.
New Pathways for Youth
Their Mission: New Pathways for Youth empowers youth to fulfill their potential through mentoring and life-skill development.
Their Story: Since 1989, New Pathways for Youth has developed and acquired mentoring programs that are unique to the Valley and have measurable success transforming the lives of at-risk youth, who often describe where they see themselves in the future as “dead or in jail.” All youth self-select into the program. With a supportive staff, trained mentors, and effective curriculum, we are able to show youth a new pathway.

Snow Camp
Trout Camp Began on an early summer weekend in 2008. That first year brought great fishing, good times, and three feet of unexpected snow, which earned it the nickname “Snow Camp.” Despite the cold, we knew we had something special, so we returned the next year, and every year since. And so far, the snow hasn’t repeated itself.
